Ms. Gemini, please make up your mind!

These were the exact words when my former classmate in Grade 5, Aldou Cinco made a comment when I couldn't make up my mind. Haha! I would like to thank him anyway for increasing my sales in this blog's Adsense from $5.18 to a whooping $35.15 in just two days hehe :)

A little bit of rewind >> Last night, while I was chatting with him and Azy in Facebook, I happened to read "Ready to be Rich" by Fitz Villafuerte who is a Filipino blogger about personal finance. It was interesting and very informative and I found myself scribbling my own business plan too. There were 14 steps before taking the plunge and was so immensely surprised when I made a computation for my pre-operational expenses. My big jaw dropped (yeah, like a dog panting, haha!) and told Azy that I couldn't put up the day care center. It was just right to have wrote it down otherwise, I will be out of savings to the last centavo and I don't want that to happen. I thought I can start up a business with a little capital. I'm not being pessimistic though but that's just reality. Knock my head! Perhaps, if I can get a real cheap place then maybe..just maybe. Oh boy, what am I thinking..tsk...

Then, I told Aldou that I'll just open up an ukay2x store instead and that's when he said: Ms. Gemini, please make up your mind :P hahaha! :) I couldn't help but laugh because he was right after all. Grrr! I told Azy too and she said, yeah why not gurl? With your budget, that should be okay! Then I became excited :) She said she will also ask her friend Ces Castro, who owns an ukay2x store (whom by the way is also a kikay friend of my best friends-Abeth, Azy and Yna).

<<Fast forward today: I was out from the civilization for three whole days (yup, for only 3 days) and when I went out, I wasn't batting my eyelids when I saw the HUGE sign of sale! YES SALE! Huhuhu :( No budget yet! I felt like I was gone for so long because I didn't even know that there'a a MISSHA store who just recently opened in AMK Hub. It was Rodesa who mentioned about BB Creams and hopefully, we can do business...ahem!

Actually, the reason why I was out there was just to observed the human traffic, meaning where do people go in a shopping mall. I noticed that there's really business in kids clothing, beauty and wellness, women's attire (clothes, shoes), electronics and of course, the restaurants. Most shoppers don't go for shops/stalls who are quiet and plain looking type. There's also one thing I didn't understand why some of the shop owners did not display their best items that's easy access to the human eye--hehe! :) If you have a customer base then it's alright but if you want to draw attention to walk into your shop then, better put up the best outfit in the display window. :)

After some thoughts, I made a conclusion to myself regarding putting up a business. It's a major risk. Don't sell what's fad. Sell the necessities. Do what you love. I should be persistent, decisive and self-motivated-why? Because it's a lot of hard work. Also, business is not all about having small or big money for a start up capital but a continuous process of investment.

The big question is, will I ever pursue? YES. A big chunk of YES.
Here are some snaps which keeps me moving forward to reach my dreams.

Bazaar! I love Bazaar. Who doesn't? It's almost Christmas and expect much of these in the coming months :)

I kinda like this bag. I don't know what is it made of... Hmmm leather? But it's too hard. hehe :) This bag is from Cotton On.

Oh, I didn't buy this just yet. I love the colour! Ever since Kate Middleton wore that royal blue dress during their engagement--this color has been a favourite from most of the fashionistas out there. (Please don't criticize my feet-hmph) defensive mode hehe :)

Checking on book sale and right across was Bega's women's sale items too! Clearing my throat, I didn't buy a single item...shoosh! It's alright.

On  my way home, I saw this brave little girl who crossed the street with her bike alone. Yes. Alone. If I'm her mother, I will never allow her to do that--huhu :(

To wrap up my Thursday, here's a song Impossible by Shontelle :) I love to sing this when I go back home and have a karaoke session with my friends. I don't care. Haha! :)

Happy Thursday everyone! Always remember that whatever problems you may have, there's always a clear sky after the rain. Never say impossible but use the word alternative instead. Don't lose that hope. Trust me.
